[TNG] Season 7, Episode 11: Parallels

Worf rarely gets to lead a sci-fi mystery episode, so it’s kinda fun seeing how differently he handles weird stuff going down on his own. “Parallels” also does a decent enough job of making both Worf and the audience uncomfortable with seeing these alternate worlds, though it would’ve been nice if there was a bit more imagination when the universe hopping starts to get out of hand.

It’s Worf’s birthday!

Deanne delivers a present from Alexander. He couldn’t make it because he’s just like in another room or something.

But then the cake is different!

Worf swears this trophy used to have spikes on it.

Beverly puts her hand on Worf’s shoulder.

There are a few other things that are different too.

In this universe blankets are way smaller.

Wesley is back! but Picard is gone?? Not a great trade. At least they keep Wesley in a weird little glass enclosure.

The Enterprises are tribbling.

In one universe there’s no time for beard trims and the WiFi is very bad.

Worf seems to like this universe.

So when he goes back he eats dinner!
