The crew searches a relay station with the best possible discovery: A DOG!!

Hopefully a new recurring character. Spin off series with Spot. Let’s make it happen.

Not as big a deal as the new dog, but they also find some gunk that’s left over from a person being murdered let’s see if the dog knows any tricks.

Geordi goes through the personal logs of one of the dead crew members. It’s for research!!

There was also a Klingon interacting with the station, but the Klingons aren’t being very helpful.

Picard name-drops Gowron to open up some doors with these local dummies.

Then Aquiel shows up, very not murdered.

Geordi has a date with her somehow and immediately tells her that he’s read her diary.

For Geordi this is third base.

They find a phaser!

It’s looking like Aquiel might have something to do with the dead goop.

She doesn’t know nothin!

True love?

Why is the presentation of a rock/crystal/etc always how a potentially harmful romance always goes down in Star Trek?

This is a small bed.

A hand shows up. Kinda weird

But then the dog gets a little wobbly.
