[DS9] Season 4, Episode 20: Shattered Mirror
Rating: 2
Deep Space Nine starts to get really Deep Space Nine on the Mirror Universe and make it into an ongoing series. I kinda like that they double down on it, and “Shattered Mirror” doesn’t have quite as many ludicrous performances as other Mirror episodes can have, so it gets a 2. It would be nice, since we’re spending more time in the Mirror Universe, if there was a little more ambition applied to the concept, but I guess DS9 is just happy to continue the story of the rebels and the alliance.

Notes:
Mirror-Jennifer pays a visit. Unlike every other mirror version she seems like a pretty good person. I guess that means she was awful in the regular universe right?
But it was a scheme to get Sisko to help build them a version of the Defiant.
Worf gets to be a bad guy.
Mirror-Kira was captured, and the terrains now control DS9. Thankfully there isn’t TOO much Mirror-Kira in this one.
Nog helps her escape
The Defiant is up and running just in time for battle. They let Sisko go, but he wants to stay just for the fun of life threatening battle.
Life threatening battle!
Kira kills Jennifer, ’cause it isn’t a mirror universe episode unless somebody dies.
It seems kinda wrong that what seems like a decent amount of budget would go into a mirror universe episode right? Anyway, the ‘good’ guys win.
