[DS9] Season 4, Episode 11: HomefrontRating: 3
It’s great to see some progress in the ongoing conflict with the Dominion, but this episode can be pretty slow. A lot of the story is about Sisko’s stubborn father, and the reluctance of earth to go along with mild security measures. It is nice to see a little more of the internal workings of The Federation when it concerns something like the Dominion threat.

Notes:

Odo is really mad because Dax moved his stuff a few inches, because changelings love order and stuff

O’Brien and Bashir play out the Battle of Britain, and even when they’re done with the holo-program, they still really like talking in the accents because they’re total nerds.

Nog wants Sisko to help him get into “Red Squad,” an elite group of cadets that we’ve totally heard about before!

Sisko’s dad doesn’t want blood screenings. He brings up the point that it wouldn’t be a very hard thing for changelings to get around, but I wished they addressed more holes, like if the changeling replaced Odo. There are ways they could’ve answered this, but they don’t even try.
