Mudd escaped his punishment on that robot planet and Enterprise catches up with him

He’s trying to sell little crystals that contain a liquid in them that make a person of the opposite gender really attracted to you, or if used on someone of the same gender, will just make him or her become your best pal

Kirk and Spock turn the crowd against Mudd so he’ll come with them willingly. Spock quickly shoots his phaser along the ground making a huge, completely believable trench to cut off the crowd.

Mudd offers Chapel one of his love crystals to use on Spock.

She goes and tries it out. She does the pretend-falling-on-someone-trick. Not too subtle.

Meanwhile Mudd escapes. he swiped Chapel’s phaser during the transaction.

Chapel catches up with him in the shuttle bay

Mudd tries to run, drops his crystals, and they get sucked into the ventilation duct for the ship

Mudd somehow makes Chapel stun herself? What?

Mudd takes Chapel hostage and escapes on a shuttle. Spock is pissed

The whole crew starts to fall in love with each other

Arex plays an instrument

Kirk and Spock beam down to the planet that Mudd went to, and remember that they’re best buds

There’s a giant rock monster on the planet, why not.

Kirk tries to have everyone beamed up, but the transporter team is busy having a dance

Then another monster comes! Oh great, they aren’t going to make them somehow fall in love with each other, are they?

Mudd only has a few crystals left. It’s gonna happen, isn’t it

Oh…they actually use the crystals to make one of the monsters fall in love with Kirk. Then the monsters fight each other.
