[ENT] Season 3, Episode 18: Azati Prime
Azati Prime is, in a lot of ways, the culmination of much of the season 3 arc, and the suspense is only increased by the end of the episode. Aside from some questionable character moments, this episode is pretty good.

Notes:

Travis and Trip take the the Xindi shuttle on a recon mission. They aren’t great at flying it. It’s a nice touch considering how frequently humans can operate alien tech with ease elsewhere in the Trek universe.

Enterprise is spotted by a small station on a moon, and Archer orders it to be destroyed before they can warn anyone. Ruthless!

Someone has to fly the Xindi shuttle into the weapon and blow it up. It’s a suicide mission! Archer says he’s gonna do it.

Daniels takes Archer to Enterprise J, while it’s fighting against the Sphere builders in the future. He explains how the Sphere builders would have destroyed the Xindi if it wasn’t for the Federation.

He asks Archer to not kill himself, and that he has to convince the Xindi to be friends. He gives Archer a Xindi medallion that can be quantum-dated as being from the future. I guess we just have to accept that this is the best way for Daniels to solve this problem.

Archer decides blowing up the weapon is a better idea. He gives a goodbye speech, saying that he wants the crew to return to exploration after this is all over.

Dolim: “You don’t want to know my specialty.”
Archer: “Let me guess, stinkin’ up the room!”
Man, Archer’s insults are laaaame.
