This episode is written by Lamb Chops! All around it’s not too bad of an episode, but it moves pretty slow, making it worth skipping if new to Star Trek.

Scott’s got the hotts for a lady.
Why is this shot happening
Enterprise comes across some space lights
The lights flash them.
It especially hurts Romaine
They go to Memory Alpha, the giant Federation library!
But everyone there is dead.
Except for this lady, who can only make weird noises
Here come them lights again…
Following Federation protocol, Kirk tries to talk to the lights for a minute or so.
Then they blast it.
But when they shoot the lights, it also hurts Romaine!
The lights are taking over Romaine! They’re some species that physically died off, and they’re just looking for some bodies to live in, which seems to be the goal of a lot of non-corporeal beings in the Trek world.
They have to do some kind of exorcism to get ’em out.
