Kirk has to pick up a lady named Elaan that is marrying a Troyian in order to bring peace. There better be more to this episode than a reference. This green guy is a Troyian meant to teach Elaan the Troyian etiquette

The Elasians show up. If I was tasked with coming up with costumes for a group of people that are supposed to be really tough, this is what I would’ve come up with too

Then Elaan shows up. The actress’s name is France and she’s from France.

The Troyian really wants Elaan to wear a necklace

Elaan hates everything!

“Engines are for mechanics and menials.” Elaan is mean

The Klingons are tailing them!

The Troyian gets stabbed and blames Kirk’s advice. Now Kirk feels like he needs to teach Elaan proper etiquette.

But she doesn’t have very good manners

An Elasian guard sabotages Enterprise because he loves Elaan and doesn’t want her to get married. Now they need some more dilithium crystals

Kirk gets Elaan’s magic tears on him, which makes him fall in love with her, as you would expect.

The Troyian still really wants Elaan to wear the necklace

The Klingons start attacking!

But then Kirk notices Elaan’s necklace has some dilithium crystals. Also, why did they need to make four different sparkly outfits for Elaan? Couldn’t they have just made her one outfit, and spent the extra money on a new Romulan ship or something?
