[TNG] Season 3, Episode 9: The Vengeance Factor
Rating: 3
This episode has kind of a standard plot for Star Trek, but it was executed well, and was entertaining enough for a 3. Even though it might not mean much to some people, I really like watching Picard fill the role of mediator. It’s fun to see him act threatening when he needs to all while being diplomatic.

Notes:
Picard is mediating between two groups that have been driven apart by years of conflict
But one of them still seems to have a grudge
She touches a guy and he dies!
Riker becomes close to the killer lady
Crusher figures out that the old guy was murdered
Picard arranges a meeting between the leaders of the two groups. Hey, how come when we’re looking at the view-screen from the right side like this, we can see the guy’s profile? Is this a view-screen or a window, and there’s just a big man outside the ship? …
…I mean, it should be like if I looked at this image from the right side of my TV, right? …I think this means I’m getting bored
Data figures out that the killer lady was connected to a death 50 years ago! And she hasn’t aged much
Riker beams in to stop her plot of killing the other group’s leader. Apparently her group, who were wiped out, came up with a way of messing with her genes and making her age slower, she can withstand being stunned by a phaser, and they developed a disease that is transmitted through touch and only works on the group of people they want to kill. How did her group get wiped out by those idiots??
She tries to touch the guy so Riker shoots her a few times. He eventually vaporizes her. It seems like there had to have been some way to stop her without vaporizing her
