The crew comes across some Klingons on a planet. Their ships is heavily damaged and they blame Kirk

Kang! Not a great idea for their makeup. I don’t know if they were trying to make them seem more alien by making them a different color and just forgot that humans are also that color?

Scotty beams up the crew, but waits to rematerialize the Klingons

There’s a little sparkly thing on board

Strange things start happening, all to make the Klingons and humans fight each other on a level playing field, and as ruthlessly as possible. Scotty’s into it

Kirk captures Kang’s wife (and rescues her from a super creepy Chekov) and tries to negotiate with Kang

Fight!

But then Kirk convinces Kang that they’re just pawns of the little sparkly thing. It feeds off the hate

Kirk and Kang just shout at it until it leaves. Spock stares at it.
