This episode has a serious subject which some people will find appealing. Episodes involving aliens acting wrongly resulting in one of the crew members chewing them out, get a little old to me, but I didn’t hate this one. B’Elanna also wears a cool jacket.

B’Elanna has dreams that feel real.
Voyager is transporting a group of aliens. You can tell they’re aliens because they have headbands on
We learn that these aliens can telepathically share their memories and knowledge to other people. I’m glad this episode doesn’t prolong the mystery of what’s happening to B’Elanna
In the dreams she has a boyfriend and a dad that doesn’t like the boyfriend.
In B’Elanna’s dream she gets a scratch on her cheek. That clues B’Elanna into who the memories belong to. But then she finds her dying
Before she dies, she cuts to the chase in her memories. The group of people that her boyfriend belonged to were exterminated by her father and others.
She also shows B’Elanna how she shamefully bought into the stories hiding what really happened
The lady dies, and B’Elanna thinks she was killed by one of her species who didn’t want the truth exposed
B’Elanna chews em out!
At the end one of the alien ladies is willing to telepathically share B’Elanna’s dreams/memories
