[ENT] Season 3, Episode 5: Impulse

This episode answers some questions about the expanse and starts a new element in the story arc, so it should be watched for continuity. There is a lot of time spent escaping zombie-vulcans, and watching T’Pol slowly go insane, both of which can be a little silly.

Notes:
T’Pol is going crazy! It goes to a black screen and says: “One day earlier…”. I guess we’re supposed to be curious about the explanation, and willing to stay on the channel long enough to find out. Possible spoiler: it’s probably some sci-fi magic that just makes people go crazy
Enterprise picks up a signature from a Vulcan ship that entered the expanse 9 months ago. All the asteroids in this field move unpredictably
The asteroids are filled with trellium-D, the stuff they need to insulate their ship with in order to be protected from anomalies
When they get to the Vulcan ship, they find zombie-Vulcans
T’Pol starts to look a little bit like gollum. The trellium-D makes Vulcans lose their minds!
But then they make it off the ship and things blow up
They start up the movie night thing again. It kind of takes away from the seriousness of their mission. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Trip make that face.
