It’s really fun to see parts of Star Trek VI from the perspective of the Excelsior, so much so that it’s annoying every time the story goes back to Tuvok’s memory-virus story, which is actually the main plot.

The camera is zooming in on Tuvok! That means this episode is going to be about him!
He has a flashback about that time he dropped a girl off of a cliff
Tuvok plays with blocks
The repressed memory is causing serious damage to Tuvok, so he melds with Janeway so she can help him sort through his memories

Rand!
The ship is hit by a shock wave caused by Praxis exploding! It’s Star Trek VI!
Tuvok objects to disobeying Starfleet orders by making an attempt to rescue Kirk and Bones
Janeway talks about the difference between the old days of Kirk and now
Starfleet officers sleep without blankets or jammies. They just lay there in full uniform
Tuvok explains how he left Starfleet and why he rejoined
The Klingons stand in their way!
It’s Kang!
The guy next to Tuvok dies and it triggers flashbacks within the flashback
Tuvok’s mind starts to go, and now people can see Janeway. She steals Rand’s uniform
Janeway starts to have the same flashback
The Doctor explains that it was a virus that disguised itself as a repressed memory and transferred to Tuvok when his friend died.
