Nog, Quark and the Siskos go on a camping trip/science project. They set up the trajectory of the episode to be about Quark trying to convince Sisko of something and Jake bonding with his dad. Seems like it’s going to be a lame episode. Perhaps unintentionally this episode has a surprise twist of actually getting really good

Quark makes fun of how the federation acts like they’re tolerant, but it’s only tolerant of species that remind them of themselves

A lady shows up and says she’s running from the Jem’Hadar

Then the Jem’Hadar show up and capture Quark, Sisko, and the lady

You know how when you use chalk to draw a circle around an ant, they don’t want to cross through. I think this is kind of like that. The lady says it might kill them, but I don’t know, I think it’s just lights on the ground

Meanwhile, Jake and Nog make dumb faces in the bushes

The Jem’Hadar guy seems like he’s been watching DS9. He knows about the Bajorans and Cardassians. He wished that he could’ve met a Klingon instead of a human and ferengi

The Jem’Hadar go through the wormhole and tell DS9 that they have Sisko and to not go get him. I think they probably will go get him

The lady has magic powers but they’re being subdued by a locking necklace. They try to get it off

Quark tells Sisko that he thinks the ferengi remind humans of how they used to be, but he says the ferengi were never as bad as humans. The ferengi never had slavery or holocausts or big wars

They get the necklace off and escape!

They send in some big guns to get Sisko, but as they’re retreating the Jem’Hadar crash into it and destroy it!

When they get back to the station Quark discovers that the necklace has no device to subdue magic powers. It was just a lock. The lady was meant to be a spy!
