A landing party comes across some Kelvans. They can freeze people

They get captured

So Spock mind melds with a cave wall

Kirk karate chops a lady and makes a break for it, but they freeze him

This guy wants to play dungeons and dragons

If Scotty pushes that button, he’ll destroy the ship!

They go through the barrier at the edge of the galaxy

The Kelvans turn the “non-essential” crew members into little shapes

They observe that the Kelvans aren’t used to the sensations of being in human bodies. They devise a plan to try to distract them by playing off of their emotions. Bones, observe from further away

Bones gives one of them a bunch of shots

Of course it’s Kirk’s job to distract the main female Kelvan. He goes to her to “apologize” for karate chopping her earlier

Scotty tries to out-drink one of them

and Spock tries to stir up jealousy in their leader

”Can you apologize to me again?” …oh brother

A fight breaks out!

Kirk convinces the Kelvans that their home world wouldn’t even recognize them and they should just find a new home
