[VOY] Season 2, Episode 20 (Netflix: S2 E20): Investigations
This episode is the conclusion of an ongoing story line, so I guess that means you should watch it. It wasn’t great though. Probably the best thing about the ongoing traitor plot was that it was ongoing. The way they had little scenes in the prior episodes building toward something was cool.

Notes:
…What kind of stupid plan is this? They had Paris act like a jerk months in advance to make it seem like he wouldn’t want to be on the ship, because the traitor will definitely be keeping track of Paris, and what trouble he’s causing. So Paris leaves and joins a Talaxian ship, and they just hope that this is big news to the Kazon. What if the Kazon didn’t care? Paris would just have to spend weeks on a Talaxian ship until he would have to embarrassingly phone home and ask to be picked up. So then Paris gets captured by the Kazon. They have to count on the Kazon not just locking him up, you know, like they normally do with people. Instead they put him in a really important room where he’s supposed to figure out the Kazon computers, and then figure out who the spy is on Voyager. But after all of this, they just tell Neelix to act as bait to lure out the spy. That’s how the spy actually gets taken down. Paris just by chance finds out something useful, that there was a Kazon ambush waiting for Voyager. This plan put Paris in an incredibly risky situation, with about 2,000 ways it could go wrong. They just had to hope that he can get all the information, figure out some way to break free, and find his way back to Voyager.
