[TNG] Season 2, Episode 18 (Netflix: S2 E18): Up The Long Ladder
Rating: 2
This episode has some character moments in the beginning that I like, a bad plot, an okay plot, and then a weird resolution. I guess that makes it a 2.

Notes:
Worf has the Klingon measles and he’s embarrassed. Pulaski makes up a story to cover for him
Worf thanks her by having a tea ceremony
They beam aboard some Irish caricatures. O’Brien also beamed up the hay they were standing on. Why’d he do that? Apparently they’re colonists from earth that everyone just forgot about.
Riker stares at a lady until she falls in love with him. Not sure that strategy would actually work
They also meet a lost colony of clones. This episode doesn’t follow a A-plot/b-plot story structure, instead they just tell one story, then the next, then the next, and they eventually tie in. It seems like it would be interesting story telling technique if they did something interesting with it
The clones ask if they can have some DNA to make more clones. Riker says “no, that’s weird”, so the clones just shoot them and steal some cells
Riker gets mad and shoots the clones they started making of him and Pulaski
Picard realizes that one group is super smart, but needs people to mate with, and the other group loves to mate and are idiots. They’re perfect for each other! All they have to do is join together and form a polygamist breeding group to start a new colony
