The Vulcans can be annoying in this episode, but generally it’s fun. It’s important to watch because it continues the story arc between the Andorians and Vulcans, as well as build the relationship between Archer and Shran.

Notes:
Shraaan! He’s fighting with the Vulcans over a disputed colony. He wants Archer to act as a mediator between the Vulcans and Andorians because he was even handed in dealing with them before. Sometimes when Shran is placed in an episode it seems like the explanation is a stretch, but this one makes sense.
Archer talks about how it’s maybe part of his mission to prove that humans can be a part of a larger community. Like the federation??
They go and see the Andorians.
Shran asks to speak with Soval directly. Archer convinces Soval to go see him
Someone fires on them on the way
Soval says T’Pol has picked up a “human accent”. What does that even mean?
It turns out it’s Shran’s lieutenant is leading the attack
Archer manages to get Shran and Soval talking. They also drink something. I don’t think T’Pol likes it
