[VOY] Season 2, Episode 12 (Netflix: S2 E12): Resistance
Rating: 3
Except for a handful of pretty terrible but isolated scenes, this is a particularly strong Voyager episode. It’s the kind of survival story that should’ve been more common place on the show, particularly in the earlier seasons.

Notes:
The crew is in desperate need of tellerium so they have to go to a dangerous planet to get some. It’s almost like Voyager is in a survival type situation. Daft Punk stops them though
Neelix is being a good delta quadrant guide. He also wears cooler clothes in this one.
B’Elanna and Tuvok get a chance to interact. B’Elanna is mainly just surprised that Tuvok can feel pain. Klingons and Vulcans have very well thought out philosophies that are at complete odds with each other, yet in all of Star Trek they almost never show these philosophies matched up against each other. Seems like a missed opportunity with Voyager, although they couldn’t really do it since B’Elanna was made into an Klingon that doesn’t care much for Klingoness
Janeway is saved by a crazy old man who thinks she’s his daughter
The old guy embarrasses himself to save another person.
The scene where Janeway seduces agent pierce is gross
Janeway saves B’Elanna and Tuvok, and they all make it back to the ship
The old guy doesn’t make it. Poor old guy
