Given that the premise is that the crew must act as irrational as possible to free themselves from robots, it could’ve been worse.

Bones and Spock make fun of each other!
A guy is going around chopping people and pressing buttons
He’s a robot!
Is Spock doing a mind meld or is he just touching his face?
It’s all Mudd’s fault
Kirk: “Do you mind leaving us”
Alice: “Why should we leave you?”
Kirk: “Because we don’t like you”
The robots want to take over all of humanity and take care of them
Their only chance is to confuse them by acting irrational. Oh boy, here we go
That’s not confusing and irrational, that’s just silly
Chekov seems good at this
The robots turn off because they’re so confused
Spock has a much easier time. He just tells them contradictory things
Eventually they make their way to the head robot
Kirk manages to talk him into shutting off
Apparently quite a lot happens in between scenes. They’ve reprogrammed all 200,000 robots and made another 500 just to annoy Mudd. Robots must be easy to make
