The Enterprise crew says they’re gonna teach the miners how to defend themselves

“The bat-leth can decapitate its victim with one stroke, while the mek-leth is typically used to slash the throat or disembowel. I cannot teach you to defend yourselves against these weapons…” …This is a horrible prep speech

She teaches them a somersault though

Their strategy seems to be to put a couple people at incredible risk just to annoying and confuse the Klingons. At least the somersault works every time

They lead the Klingons into fire

So the Klingons decide to go bother someone else
