The plot of this one is purely functional but with good reason – it’s basically there to support referential comedic bits. But guess what, all the bits are great, the special effects and overall production are great, the fan service is great… it’s all great baby.

It’s cool seeing the DS9 crew hold TOS crew in such high regard. Lots of great nods to Trek lore. Listen this is back in the day when fan service was not the driving force of all media, ok?

Klingon things need to be explained!

It took TOS uniforms to really let us know how lanky Bashir is.

Bashir and O’Brien are busted!

They search for a tribble with a bomb inside it!

Then the ending.
