The Enterprise comes across some leftovers from a model kit.It zaps Picard and he wakes up in different clothes. I bet this episode is all about the mystery of how his clothes changed.oh wait everything else is different tooHe has a wife now, and she explains some things to him.She says the fever took his memories, and he used to really like playing the flute, but he sucks at it. Guess the fever messed that up too.She has a necklace that looks like the probe. We later have to infer that the creators of this fantasy do this just to mess with him.We jump through time, and Picard learns to accept his new life, has children, tries to save the planet from drought, and, most importantly, gets better at the flute.On Enterprise they track the origin of the probe to a planet that has been lifeless following a supernova 1,000 years ago. uh oh…Time keeps passing. Picard’s hair gets longer, his wife dies, etc.pipe artIn the end, they launch a probe and explain to Picard that it’s the probe that finds him. The kid is startled by like a gaffer or key grip or whatever.Picard wakes up and only 25 minutes have passed. *Phew* anyway onward and upward!🙁
