[TNG] Season 5, Episode 14: Conundrum
Rating: 4
Conundrum is a particularly fun sci-fi mystery with a strong set-up. The follow-through is solid as well, and in general the plot provides ample opportunities for some great character work, especially with Riker and Ro.

Notes:
Enterprise comes across a super rude ship that will not return their texts!
A green light shines on them
Uh-oh, no one remembers who they are…
Worf figures he’s in command on account of his cool sash.
They still know how to tap on the ‘ol screens, but learn nothing.
Data happened to be messing around behind the bar at the time of the memory loss, so now people think he’s the bartender.
They find the files on themselves, so they at least know what job they’re supposed to know how to do.
Apparently they’re at war with a group that erase peoples memories. The Enterprise is on a mission to destroy the enemy base without telling anyone else or asking any questions or wondering about this executive officer guy.
Ro and Riker assume they were in love.
The executive officer really wants to attack their enemies!
Picard isn’t enthusiastic, but fires on one of the enemy ships. It is no match for The Enterprise!!
These three look at each other
Crusher has a treatment that could return memory, and the executive officer volunteers to be the test subject. What a nice guy!
The executive officer has a secret warrior-meeting to make sure he can count on Worf to fire on those people when the time comes.
They reach the enemy base and it doesn’t seem very threatening.
The executive officer really wants to fire. Worf doesn’t uphold the warrior-bro pact!
Now that I think about it, I don’t know if I remember seeing this executive officer around before that green light.
These three look at each other again.
