[TNG] Season 4, Episode 16: Galaxy’s Child
Rating: 2
The two plots of this episode are pretty evenly split, and it seems that if one was more of an ‘A’ plot and the other a ‘B’ then it would’ve been better. They just both seem like ‘B’ plots filling out more time than the story needs. It’s worthy of note that even when Picard is reacting to discovering an alien blob thing living in space, inadvertently killing it, and helping to perform a C-section on it to save the baby, Picard is still really cool.

Notes:
Leah Brahms comes aboard Enterprise. Ya know, the lady that Geordi made a hologram version of, which he fell in love with.
She’s not as nice as the hologram.
Enterprise finds an alien that lives in space and is made from ancient syndicated tv cgi.
It starts to electrocute the ship so they shoot it a little.
But it was a little too much. It’s dead now. Good work crew.
Geordi is a dork and every scene he is in with Leah Brahms is super awkward.
The alien was pregnant!
BTW Brahms is married.
(space birth)
Geordi’s bummin’.
The baby thinks Enterprise is it’s mother or something. It starts sucking energy from it.
At least Picard is in this episode.
Brahms discovers Geordi’s holodeck program. For some reason she’s not that cool with it.
Enterprise leads the baby to other members of it’s species.
There’s some problem that needs to be solved and Brahms and Geordi work really well together to sort it out.
The baby lets go of Enterprise…
…and Geordi and Brahms become best buds.
