Rating: 2
This episode seems like an after school special about why you shouldn’t tell a lie.

(Vorik)
In the beginning Neelix is bothering everyone, wanting to help them out.
Voyager is entering a region of space called the Nekrit expanse. Neelix doesn’t know anything about space beyond this point, which is a reminder that Neelix is theoretically on board as a guide, even though he almost never does anything like that.
They go to a trading outpost near the Nekrit expanse. They try to get some supplies.
Neelix runs into an old friend, Wix, from his trouble-making years.
Wix convinces Neelix to help him with this one last thing, but one thing leads to another and they end up killing a guy.
Wix tells Neelix to not tell anyone.
This guy gets angry.
Wix whispers sweet nothings in Neelix’s ear.
They eventually turn themselves in when Paris and Chakotay are arrested for the crime
But they convince the guy in charge of the station to let them go if they help catch some drug dealers
So then that happens
Neelix reveals why he did all this, and it was to get a map to help them in the Nekrit expanse. He thought he would be kicked off the ship once he lost his usefulness. That’s some pretty unbelievable motivation driving this plot. Maybe a 2 rating is generous….
