[TOS] Season 3, Episode 4: And the Children Shall Lead
Rating: 1
This episode doesn’t have anything I can think of in it’s favor. No great story, or concepts, and typically we at least get some cool character moments to carry us through an episode, but this episode doesn’t even have that. –

Notes:
They find some dead people on a planet.
The children of the people who died don’t seem that bothered. I think I used to have bed sheets that looked exactly like their clothes
Kirk starts to feel weird so they leave
Kirk tries to get answers from the children, but they just start saying “busy” over and over again and run around
The kids summon a man dressed in possibly the worst costume in all of Star Trek
The kids have magic powers when they shake their fists
They make Sulu see swords
They make Uhura think she’s old
Kirk tries to get them to snap out of it
Did they make Spock think he’s Cyclops?
They make Kirk think that he lost command of Enterprise.
Kirk overcomes the manipulation and gets the glowing man to come back. The man says something about how he can’t control adults because they’re too gentle, and must be eliminated. So kids don’t have any gentleness?
Kirk shows the kids a video of all the good times they had with their parents, and then their dead bodies
He makes the kids cry, which makes them not evil any more
“Look how ugly he really is” -Kirk
