[VOY] Season 2, Episode 11 (Netflix: S2 E11): Maneuvers
Rating: 4
The plot of Seska and Voyager trying to outwit each other works for the most part, but the real strength of the episode is Seska. She is one of my favorite villains in Voyager. This, along with an upcoming episode, may also be the best episodes dealing with the Kazon.

Notes:

B’Elanna and Chakotay were playing hover-ball and B’Elanna was winning. Chakotay tries to make it clear that he was “lulling [her] into a false sense of security”, and that he would’ve won. For a lot of this episode they’re telling us that Chakotay has a lot of pride. I never really got that impression before

A Kazon ship was hiding in a cloud! They know the rotation of shield frequencies for Voyager! The whole attack is really cool

Chakotay makes things a lot more difficult for Voyager by going after Seska alone. Hope it works out

Chakotay manages to destroy the Kazon’s transporter capabilities. He sends a message to Voyager saying not to come after him. Did he really think that would happen?

The Kazon have gained the support of 6 other Kazon ships, but B’Elanna can transport Chakotay off while Voyager is at warp by synchronizing the transporter’s annular confinement beam to the warp core frequency duh idiots

Seska sends a message to Chakotay saying she stole some of his DNA and impregnated herself with it. What a psycho
